Segregating Water Quality Degradation of Grand Lake Between Tributaries and Land Use Features
The Neosho meets Spring River to start the Grand River and Grand Lake. Our Grand Riverkeeper works on watershed protection, including monitoring for metals pollution due to downstream impacts of the Tri-State Mining District and protecting our land and river from bacteria, nutrient and mercury pollution. He is working with Tribes and other grassroots organizations to protect water quality and wildlife ecology in the watershed.
